Stopped cock fighting in Nagpur
It was alleged that there was a huge racket involving cock fighting competitions in a village in Nagpur.
The betting involved millions of rupees and the local police were a part of the racket. I informed the Superintendent of Police about the event and its exact location. The fax was followed with a call to the Addl SP.
From the report received later, the event was stopped permanently. I shall await to hear if it ever restarts there.
