Uniting Nester with Harsha
On a Sunday I received a call from a young lady about her dog being abducted by their neighbour. I was later told that the son of this neighbour are in bad company and very arrogant. I was also told the neigbour is politically well connected.
As I went to the police station I realized that the police had already pressurised the complainant to sign that they have resolved the issues and not complaint is left between the two parties.
I showed my identity and asked the police to go ahead an register an offence. He hesitated saying that the owner doesn’t have municipal license. I insisted that this did not extinguish her rights as she has enough material evidence to prove her ownership of the dog. Finally the politician was called who took a soft stance as he found me there. He asked for 2 days to locate the dog.
I had imagined that the dog would never be found… but I was happy to get a call from the aunt of the young girl that the dog was brought back and united with her.
